A group of vigilantes lured a man who thought he was arranging to meet a year-old girl in a park for sex. Ashley Donaghy, 29, sent explicit messages over social media to two girls he believed to be 12 and But the accounts were actually being run by two grown women who were part of the One Reason paedophile hunters group. He was confronted by members of the group on a canal bridge near Morrisons in Failsworth, Manchester. When he realised he had been rumbled, Donaghy turned and ran off, dropping a bag containing glass bottles which smashed. When the suspect later returned home, he said he was too frightened to go inside because the group were still there, but he did when police arrived.
